Hybrid Tea Roses

Hybrid Teas are the most popular of all the types.

Their blooms are large and elegantly formed and they provide a rewarding display all through the summer.
Generally they are all scented with many being heavily perfumed. They are bushy and easy to grow with an average height of approximately 32 - 36 inches (80-90 cms).
Hybrid Teas are suitable for planting individually, in a mixed bed or in groups of one variety.
Plant 24 inches apart (60 cms)

Floribunda Roses

Floribundas produce a profusion of showy bloom, generally smaller than the Hybrid Tea, but carried in clusters of many together throughout the season.
An individual bush provides a lovely colourful display, and when planted in groups or on mass – the effect is magnificent.
Average Height approximately 32 – 36 inches (80 – 90 cms)
Plant 24 inches apart (60 cms)

Climbing and Rambling Roses

Climbing Roses flower almost continuously throughout the summer. They are less vigorous and more manageable than the Rambler Roses and are generally considered to be more suitable for the modern garden. They are extremely versatile and offer a wide variety of planting opportunities.
For Walls, fences, trellis, arches, obelisks, use on a support amongst a mixed border or train on a frame to create a feature.
Rambler Roses are very vigorous and produce large clusters of small flowers with great freedom. Although most only flower once in the season their value is widely appreciated as they are efficient growers and quickly cover large areas.
Useful for high walls, arches, pergolas, scrambling into trees and bushes, hiding unsightly buildings and offers an excellent deterrent against intruders when used as a living security fence!
